3. Legal Bases for Processing

Under GDPR, we process your personal data on the following legal bases:

  • Consent: given when you join our mailing list to get a free chapter, for sending you the chapter and our emails about building authority, coaching and getting clients. Also where you tick the Email updates box on our other forms. You can withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing or emailing us.
  • Contract: to provide services you have requested or to take steps prior to entering a contract.
  • Legitimate Interests: to operate, secure, and improve our Site and services, including collecting visit statistics (see section 5).

4. How We Use Your Information

  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

5. Cookies

The Site is built and hosted on the HighLevel (LeadConnector) platform. It uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage:

  • Essential: needed to deliver pages, keep the Site secure and make our forms work, including protecting them against spam. These are strictly necessary and do not need your consent.
  • Visit statistics: HighLevel sets a cookie (msgsndr_id) and keeps a record in your browser of the pages you view and how you arrived at the Site. We use this to understand how the Site is used and to improve it, and to link any enquiry you send through our forms to that visit. Cloudflare Web Analytics also counts page visits without using cookies.
  • Your cookie notice choice: when you click OK on our cookie notice, your browser remembers this so the notice is not shown again.

UK law, as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, allows cookies that are used only to collect statistics about how a website is used, so it can be improved, without asking for consent, as long as we tell you clearly about them and give you a simple, free way to object. We tell you through this policy and the notice shown when you first visit the Site. Our lawful basis for visit statistics is our legitimate interests in understanding and improving the Site.

To object, you can block or delete cookies and stored site data in your browser settings at any time, or email us at [email protected]. If you block essential cookies, some parts of the Site, such as our forms, may not work.

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics cookies. If we add any in future, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

6. Sharing Your Data

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information with trusted third-party providers who help us operate the Site and deliver our services, including:

  • Hosting and infrastructure providers.
  • Email and CRM platforms.
  • Booking platforms (e.g. HighLevel).
  • Analytics providers.

All processors are contractually required to handle your data in line with GDPR.

7. International Transfers

Where personal data is transferred outside the UK or European Economic Area (EEA), we ensure an adequate level of protection through Standard Contractual Clauses or other approved safeguards.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.
